“You can’t hit a target you can’t see, so you’ve got to put goals out there, without a goal you’re not going to achieve anything, you’ve got to have a goal”
“In any company in any group, in any division the most important thing you have in any any of those environments, are the people, so the one thing I have tried to do since I managed one single person is try to help improve them as best I could you know, trying to give them everything I possibly can. Really trying to help people do better, trying to build out a person, trying to make them their best, try to find out what motivates them to be their best.”
Every success in your life and career has been accomplished because of the goals you set along the way.
In order to motivate people you should put in place realistic goals that are achievable.
- Smart goals are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-based.
“The best thing about mistakes is learning not to make that same mistake again.”
“At the end of the day you want to motivate people, so you’re putting, hopefully, realistic, attainable goals in place.”
“Part of the key thing with goals, that it’s having a reward they’re tied with in some way, shape or form.”
